My answer is A.

Stmt1 : If y is a positive integer, x also has to be a positive integer to get 5000. The factors of 5000 are 2,2,2,5,5,5,5. So, x has to be 2 & y has to be 5. Sufficient.

Stmt 2 : If x is an integer, it could be positive or negative. So, y will be positive or negative based on x. So, cannot definitely answer the question. Insufficient.

X can be a positive int even if y is negative.. since it has the power of 4. therefore, i dont think this fact is at all relevant. what's the OA?
