Keep in mind that this is not a DS question, and thus in the wrong subforum.

This one is easily solved via some quick algebra; let x be the amount (in feet) that the tree grows each year.

So, setting up the equation, we have

(6/5) * (4 + 4x) = 4 + 6x

24/5 + 24x/5 = 4 + 6x

4/5 = 6x/5

4 = 6x

x = 4/6 = 2/3.
