Solution:

We see that it takes 6 minutes to fill 7/10 of the bucket. Letting n = the number of minutes needed to fill the remaining 3/10 of the bucket, we can create the proportion:

6 / (7/10) = n / (3/10)

60/7 = 10n/3

180 = 70n

180/70 = n

18/7 = n

Answer: D
