7 days ago, i did a brand new reinstalled GMATPrep Test 1 and scored 610,now i just got 500 in GMATPrepTest 2.Looks like am retarding or just having a bad day....Been a bit lax for the last 7 days...thought i was on track especially after progressively improving. Now am confused.Dont know what to do.Am so devastated?Anyone with a strategy to go back to the 600s in prep...Need to improve in the next 14days.

Materials i am currently using:

OG11
Princeton Review 2009
Kaplan Premier 2008
GMATPrep
PowerPrep
Powerscore LSAT CR Bible

My progress has been as follows:

GP1 on 15.01.09:640(Q44,V34)
GP2 on 20.01.09:610(Q42,V33)

Reinstalled GMATPrep

GP1 on 24.01.09:610(Q49,V25)
GP2 on 31.01.09:500(Q35,V24)

My main weakness is verbal:RC and CR....and generally timing in Verbal.
Folks, your advise will be highly appreciated.

Your scores seems to fluctuate quite a bit, but I also noticed that you just used the GMATPrep software 4 times, which isn't necessarily very indicative of your true ability. Do you have any other cats you can work on?

It might be a bit hard to see huge increases in your score with just 2 weeks left especially if you've been slack for the past week, but my suggestion is to focus on strengthing CR and quant. RC is fairly hard to improve quickly if you are having a hard time understanding the passage, but CR and quant can both be improved with hard work.

I couldn't agree more; GMAT prep is no longer accurate for you since you've taken the tests so many times. If you need more tests, all the prep companies offer free ones on their websites. I put a link to our Veritas test below. With only two weeks left, focus on the areas that are easier to improve. I'd recommend sentence correction and basic quant rules.
