Recommended Quant courses in the NYC area?

Hello!

I'm a classic case of a humanities major looking to demonstrate formidable Quant skills to admissions officers by completing a quantitative course I can take in the NYC area or online.
I know Accounting and/or Finance are ideal courses for this and I've actually enrolled at Baruch though work requirements at the time made it very difficult to succeed in the course so I'm looking to re-enroll in a course and wanted to see if anyone had advice for other options hopefully to get this completed by round 1 applications this fall.

Hi gacosta,

Depending on the type of Program you plan to apply to, you might consider taking a Statistics and/or Calculus class.

You mention wanting to apply for Round 1. Have you taken the GMAT yet?

Hi Rich,

I've already completed the GMAT and got a 710, which I contently feel like is the highest I will be able to achieve. However, I'm not sure what else I can be doing to strengthen my quant qualifications for applications.

Hi Gustavo,

A 710 is an outstanding score (it's right around the 90th percentile overall), so you should certainly apply to any Business Schools that interest you. What were your Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores on that Test? Depending on the Schools that you plan to apply to, you might want to discuss your application and plans with an Admissions Expert.
