Hello,

I am just starting the process of outlining my test prep strategy, looking at books, software, etc.

I am considering signing up for a private tutor instead of a prep class as I think I learn better with a private tutor.

I am looking at either 18 hours with Princeton Review or 14 hours with Veritas Prep.

Does anyone have any experience with a private tutor or a private tutor with Princeton or Veritas? Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your thoughts.

I am leaning toward Princeton because they offer 18 hours at $1800, while you guys at Veritas offer 14 hours at $2800 - a big price difference. No question professor quality is imperative, but it is hard to justify the difference in price. I like how Veritas offers 15 practice exams compared to only 7 at Princeton, however I can pay and buy more practice exams online for only $50-$100.

Difficult choice...leaning toward Princeton at this time.

understood--I hear ya with budget concerns, believe me. I don't know about Princeton's guarantee, but check into what your follow up options are if you aren't happy with your first score. You should probably feel well prepared with either choice, so best of luck in BEATING THE GMAT.
