Please Evaluate My Profile!

by simon190675 » Mon Mar 08, 2010 2:49 pm
My profile is below:

Nationality: British
Demos: White Male, 34 years old
Undergrad: 2:1 BSc (Hons) Industrial Design from a good British University
Work Experience: 12 years: 5 years running a web design/development company (with 3 partners), 3 years as a contractor in Web site development, 4 years as Senior Web developer in a PR company (Managing a team of up to 12 people)
GMAT: have not taken

I'm thinking of doing an MBA or EMBA with a technology emphasis. Can anyone suggest any part time or online courses, that i can take in the UK, that would fit my profile? Also if i have the technology emphasis the types of roles i would be looking to be hired as on completion.

Simon,

I'd suggest you look into EMBA since you've got more than 10 yrs of experience under your belt. Are you planning to take your GMAT OR are you looking at non-GMAT related schools? I'm not clear from your question below. Please clarify so I can guide you further.

You should be looking at IT Consulting kind of roles with your extensive technology background. You could also look for IT Strategy related consulting. Both will be lucrative and you'll be able to add value to the firm and your clients.

Hope this helps.

Hi Sophia,

Thank you for your reply. I am looking to do the GMAT and have started to study for it. I am planning to take it in 2-3 months time.

Many Thanks,

Simon
