Platinum GMAT

by Lookingfor700GMAT » Sun Mar 07, 2010 3:07 pm
Has anyone used the Platinum GMAT online tests? I came across the website today and decided to sit the quant section in preparation for my GMAT in 8 days as my verbal is stronger than quant. My score was 44-47 (it doesn't specify a single value, Answer E if it was a data sufficiency value question). I am pleased with this score and wanted to know if anyone else has used Platinum and their thoughts.

Hi,

I've not tried Platinum tests. But as you say that you only have 8 days left for the exam, practice a lot with GMATPrep rather than Platinum tests.

Thanks Papgust. Should I continue to use the two preps even though I have done each 4 times? Which other things should I used in the remaining days? The OG?

Hmm.. Normally people retake the tests as many times as possible. Most people take each of the test twice. Have you exhausted all OG questions? If not, it's a good idea to practice with OG under timed conditions (set 1.5 - 2 min for each question).

As you are just a week away from the exam, you should not study much in the last 2 days and exhaust yourself. Just review the flashcards on those 2 days and take rest completely.
