I would strongly advise to space your exams at the interval of 1 week, so that you can focus on your wekanesses and work towards the short-comings from the first exam. Just a personal suggestion. Also, if possible, lock the time and day for exam to one specific day and come may what take the exam on that particular day except- God forbid, in dire situations like tsunami, earthquake or any natural disaster!

I will follow each of your suggestion. I already was thinking of taking only once a week so I can work on mistakes/weaknesses for entire week. Possibly take practice tests as well as real on Saturday, don't know whether real exam is available or not on Sat

I was skeptical about AWA but it will be good real time environment if AWA is included.

You didn't mention taking Kaplan. Based on your desired score, it's probably a good thing. Kaplan is great for students aiming for 500-650.

For me, best two practice tests I took.

Advice:

Space out and work on weaknesses (as said before)
Simulate real test-taking experience
focus on pacing
do not get influenced by your practice test score --> I believe the GMAT is partly based on stress-resistance and concentration, so you can have good days and bad days

Mahattan and Gmatprep are deff the best prep tests, Gmatprep is the only one that mimicks the real test though
concentrate on these tow and make a thorough analysis of your errors and check what you do right and make sure you will do it right next time :)
