MBA admissions consultants:
My math sucked on the first exam and I prepped hard to (successfully!) improve my quant score, but somehow my verbal slipped immensely.
How do you think adcom will interpret this? Any chance they will see that I scored well on Q and V on the separate occasion to my advantage? Or would they be suspect of the inconsistency instead...? If so, is there need to address this somewhere in my apps? I don't want to retake a 3rd time.
GMAT#1 Q39/48th% V40/90% Total 650/78%
GMAT#2 (one month later) Q49/83% V34/69% Total 690/87%
Thanks,
Lynn
