Is the answer E , Bcos if you are representing a line segment in a X-Y plane , you shld have (X,y) co ordinates for both points C and D

I think, he means C=(a,1-b) and D=(1-a,b).
If so, the ans is C.
as midpoint is (a+1-a)/2,(1-b+b)/2 = (1/2,1/2)

hence using both we can find the midpoint.

My ans is E only, we need X and Y co ordinate of each point ie C and D

the OA is C.

You need to calculate the midpoint...
