As a broad trend, they definitely get harder later in the Quant section. There's still some easy questions later on, but the overall difficulty level rises.

They definitely get harder, though what's hard for each person varies a little -- there are some people who find the first 50 questions challenging also.nehs wrote:Are the first 50 or so questions of the OG

It's great that you're getting them all correct. Make sure you note, however, all the questions where you were not 100% sure, took more time, or had to guess; this will be very valuable information for you later in your next stage of practice.

I am finding it hard for the problems that are 120 and up
I wonder if this level is for the 650+ test taker!!

During my practice i felt 99%+ problems of the OG-11 quant were a piece of cake. The places where i went wrong was because i tried solving them in too much of a hurry due to which i missed some crucial points in the problem. The key is to throughly understand the problem before starting to solve it. I think the instructors would agree to this.
Practice makes does a man perfect, but a planned practice takes the man beyond perfection!!!

May be OG is good enough for those who wants a score upto 600 or so. Am I correct?
I have gone through each and every problem of OG(PS/DS) and my target score is 600. I hope it works for me. I have not referred to any other problem sets. LEt me know your opinions.

I find the question difficulty in the OG uneven. Sometimes the book introduces a new topic later in the set, but starts with a very simple question on that topic. Kaplan's GMAT course rates all questions for difficulty based on actual experience with many thousands of test takers. That is a more accurate measure than any individual's perception of difficulty.

if you truly understand all of the OG quant questions, then you will do well in the quant section.
