What is the average of 7x and 91y?
(1) x + 13y = 100.
(2) x + y = 88.

So, (7x + 91y)/2 = 7(x + 13y)/2 = 7* 100/2 = 350; SUFFICIENT.

(2) x + y = 88 but we cannot find the value of (7x + 91y)/2 from this; NOT sufficient.

The correct answer is A.
