which is the right sentence.

"one of the most helpful people..."

OR

"one of the most helpful person........"

it must be "one of the most helpful person"

one of the most points to a particular individual...so it must be person not people as people refers to a group.

any comments...?

"one of the most helpful people" is just fine.

"one of the most helpful persons"

we are good as long as we use one of the X, where X is plural. so people and persons is fine
