Hi there,
I have been practicing CR questions for a while and my biggest weakness has been time management on CR questions.
The way I start of with the CR question is to begin with the Question directly, read the argument and eliminate the answer choices.
To break down the specific problem:
I tend to take a lot of time paraphrasing long questions.(Finding out the question type- Strenghten/Weaken/Inference/Assumption and other types). After repeated reading of the question,It takes me 20 - 30 seconds to fully understand the question..
Once I understand the question type,my timing on comprehending the argument and eliminating answer choices get much better..
I wonder how successful people manage out understanding the long question in the first read?
Will practicing different question types over and over again.. help me get out of my timing problem?
Other than practicing on different question types, Is there anything else I need to know.. before I start practicing?
Regards,
Shyam
