Lot of splits available here. Choose the option that uses resulted, which and has been

I feel that option is C
You can, for example never foretell what any one man will do, but you can say with precision what an average number will be up to!

I'd Say A
Thanks faraz_jeddah, but I din't get the logic of why "had been and which don't go together"?

Sounds awkward. It is a causal sentence so I think it is preferable to use present - has been.

What is OA?

The present perfect tense "has been" is correct, because the sentence implies that the indictment is ongoing at the present time. "Had been" would indicate an action that was completed at some point in the past. Therefore C is correct.

Hey TheGmatTutor,

I agree that "Had been" would indicate an action that was completed at some point in the past. But I believe in this sentence the "had been indicted" is right because it started and finished in the past and it was prior to resulting in something in the past so I'd say A is the right answer.

The more I think about it, either A or C could be correct depending on context. It would be helpful if we could get some of the experts to weigh in.
