Hi everyone,

I just finished undergrad, majoring in business. I'm aiming to take the GMAT while my study habits are still strong (I'm thinking April or May), and wanted some advice in creating a study plan. Based on previous practice tests, I am scoring around 630. My goal is to get at least 700 on my first try. Any tips and suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Untimed practice and regular full-length (timed) exams with extensive review of all questions, including ones you got right.

I don't recommend doing full-length exams more than twice in a week or less often than once in a month.

Thanks for the advice! Also, what test prep sources would you recommend to get a good feel for test-type questions beside the OG? I've heard good things about Manhattan.

Most test prep providers model their questions closely on the OG, so I think you'll find that any prep source will be about the same. There is still a varying level of quality (mostly in the editing). Manhattan is definitely good, but there are plenty of good ones. Once you have done the OG, you will have a better idea of what you are looking for.
