My name is Ankit Madaan and I am an IT professional from India (unfortunately).
I had been preparing for GMAT on and off for a few months now. I have now decided to pull up my socks and study as hard as I can to give the exam by 20th July 2011 and get the score of my dreams. I have subscirbed for the 60 day guide and hope that i will be able to get a good score after completing the 60 day course.

By the way, I just gave the GmatPrep Test1 as per "Day 3" schedule and got only 590 :(
49Q,23V. I got 10 questions incorrect in Quant and 20 questions incorrect in Verbal(most of them of SC). I got tired after completing the Quant part and could not concentrate on the Verbal part and did a lot of mistakes especially in SC although I have already done a lot of practice on SC.

I hope I will improve my score in the time to come and contribute to the community.
All the best to all of you (including me!).

Thanks for that introduction! You've come to the right place--we have a really friendly community of experts and members here, and we'd all love to see you succeed!

As you prep for your retake, I highly recommend that you look at the articles we've collected in the GMAT/MBA Library. It's the world's largest collection of GMAT prep and MBA admissions articles, and I think you'll get a lot out of the information there.

All the best!

Thank you Eric but just to clarify I have not given the GMAT exam as of now.
I mentioned the cores of the GMAT prep Test 1 that is a part of my "Day 3" schedule of the 60-day guide.
