even though vs although

Hi All,

Can someone please tell what is the difference between even though and although. A number of GMAT questions have these keywords.

I remember there was a post on this topic on this or some other forum by Ron....but I could not find the same even after extensive search.

Can someone please help me understand the difference between the two ?
