Another property of similar triangles is
ratio of areas = square of ratio of sides
A-area of big trngle = 2a (given) S - SIDE
a - area of smaller trngl s - side
a / A = (s / S) ^ 2
a / 2a = s^2 / S^2
S = SQRT(2)s
