Which of the following is equivalent to 2x^2(x+3)-2x-6/x^2+2x-3 for all values of x for which both expressions are defined?
A.2x^2-2

Let x=0.
Then:
( 2x²(x+3)-2x-6 ) / (x²+2x-3) = -6/-3 = 2. This is our target.
Now we plug x=0 into the answer choices to see which yields our target of 2.
Only
B works:
2x+2 = 2*0 + 2 = 2.
The correct answer is
B.
