If x + 5 > 2 and, x - 3 < 7, the value of x must be between which of he following pairs of numbers ?

A) -3 and 10
B) -3 and 4
C) 2 and 7
D) 3 and 4
E) 3 and 10

IMO A. solving each equation will give x>-3 and x<10. I don't see any more to this question.
