For those that havent learned this yet, the GMAT treats the term 'date' as an idiom, which must be used in the form "dated at". This seems particularly troubling when using logical reasoning if not familiar with the idiom. Can someone confirm that the meaning or usage on these following examples is correct? ('meaning or usage' is singluar right?)
The artifact was dated at 12 B.C. <- The artifact was dated during the year 12 B.C.
The artifact was dated at 2023 years old. <- The artifact is thought to be 2023 years old.
They dated the archive at 12 years old. <- The group dated the archive when they were 12 years old.
