Thank you all in advance for your responses:
24, caucasian male (likely will apply for fall 2010 admission)
Will have 2 years work experience in an environmental consulting job
-no real means of advancement or raise unfortunately; i don't supervise anyone; did survive multiple rounds of layoffs
GPA 3.54 from Top Liberal Arts school
-Economics and Environmental Studies double major
Expected gmat score of 670+ (From past tests, I'm expecting a higher verbal)
-I'm starting to get worried about the GMAT. How crucial is it to score +700 and have a quant score closely parallel to verbal???
Lots of community service
-Work experience plus volunteering mainly relates to my interest in environmental side of things (volunteer with two local NYC charities)
-Kayaking Long Island Sound and raising +500$ for local charities.
-Coordinated a series of philanthropic get togethers to raise money for charity
Played Club Baseball in college and was the VP, treasurer, and assistant coach throughout the years. Member of University's Real Estate Club and Environmental Club.
LEED Accredited Professional (one of only 4 in my company of over 220, studied diligently for over 2.5 months)
completed a well-regarded educational fellowship - taught over two weekends at top NE biz schools on the relations between biz, society, and env
I'm targeting schools with serious commitments to sustainability in their programs (these are listed somewhat in order of preference, although that certainly may change over the coming months): Berkeley, Yale, UNC, Cornell, Columbia, Michigan, UC Davis
Please evaluate my profile and let me know my chances at these schools!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
