Verbal depends on quant ????

by vivek.kapoor83 » Tue Jan 06, 2009 7:17 am
Hi,
Can any1 explain my query...If u get all gud % of ques correct in quant , then verbal will be more diffcult.
means as per GMAT diff level increases with correct ans.
Now, if u do ur quant part v well, u ll get verbal tougher or it starts from scratch and will throw u easy ques.

Like if while doing qunant suppose i got 31 ques correct and 1 st verbal ques would be tougher if i would have got 35 correct.

Means these section depend or independent.

The sections are independent of each other. Irrespective of how you've performed in the Quant section, your verbal section will begin at a base level and depending on your answers move up or down.

The difficulty level of a question depends on how you've answered the previous question and this is only within the section you are in, not the overall test.

Thanks Neo
I was wrongly attributing my low Verbal due to High Quant as diff is almost double 48,24
