gmat bible inequality Qs

If its true that z<8 and 2z>-4, which of the following must be true?

a. -8<z<4
b. z>2
c. z>-8
d. z<4
e. none of the above

oa is c

but i think its E

the qs says MUST be true, and the OA maybe/may not be true....

We can confidently say z>-8 -> must be true since

z>2 and z<4 could be true
-8<z<4 -> no
