Hi swarnav999,

Based on your scores, it's clear that you have a strong Quant ability. While the percentiles for a Q46 and Q48 might not appear amazing, both of those Scaled Scores are at the high end of the range (most Test Takers max-out at Q49, while a small percentage can hit Q50 or higher). The Verbal section is where you're going to find your missing points. The V21 means that you're missing out on points in all 3 Verbal areas (SC, CR and RC). You'll need to learn the proper tactics to deal with each of those areas, then practice a lot. With those scores, it's also possible that you have a pacing problem in that section (and you're likely "guessing" too often).

What resources have you been using to study? You mentioned a Kaplan CAT, but did you purchase any books or Courses?

Well, I have my Official Guide 2013, which I have completed once already. In addition, I have Princeton Review material, and the Kaplan GMAT Premier book. I have been concentrating on CR and RC because these are my weakest points. Please, please help me out on this topics! Thanks in advance. :)

Hi swarnav999,

Some Test Takers can do well on the GMAT by using just a few GMAT prep books, but far more succeed by using a Course/Tutor/Etc. Since your Verbal score is lower than you want it to be, it a fair assumption that the resources that you used haven't been enough to help you learn the proper tactics to deal with the Verbal section.

Each section of the GMAT is consistent and predictable, so you can learn to beat it. You ultimately need consistent, professional advice - so you should consider the various Course options available to you and pick the one that best matches your time, budget and personality.
