So, I just registered for the GMAT, and i'm hoping that this time will be the last time (well at least only for continuing my studies purposes). I've made it for the 1st of June (which is a saturday) at 4pm. This excitement led me to posting this.

I've been studying seriously since around December or January. Moreover, I've been using the 60 day study guide to help guide my way. I've been taking an english class at school (I needed ONE class to graduate so I'm taking it at home, and online) and I'm taking both the GMAt and this class seriously so I do switch from School-mode to GMAT-mode on intervals. I'm almost done with my BTG 60-day study guide (I'm midway through) and plan on dividing the next two months between honing in on my weaknesses by taking practice tests and reviewing old material i'm rusty on, and completing my finals for the english course i mentioned i'm taking to graduate.

I don't know why i posted this, probably from excitement because i'm getting anxious about G-day, but if anybody wants to give me some pointers on where to focus my time (using the resources I have) or words of advice, i'll endorse any comments or criticism. Thanks.

hutch27, it's great to see the excitement!! (Oftentimes we see people posting here with the opposite emotions going on - complete depression and dejection are common!)

You've got some positive trends on your side, due to the fact that you're taking the test while you're still in school - many people who do so tend to do quite well on the test. We actually wrote about this on the EssaySnark blahg not long ago: https://essaysnark.com/2013/03/why-do-gm ... pulations/ So your strategy of "switching modes" may well pay off for you.

EssaySnark is not GMATSnark (obviously!) so we can't really offer much in the way of tips and tricks but hopefully others will chime in with some ideas. You're definitely doing the right thing by diving in with posts in the problem forums - great stuff, that active participation is the way to go. Keep at it and stick with your 60-Day Study Plan and we're betting you're going to do just fine!

Best of luck on it!!
