Greetings to Accepted.com team,

I have a final admit from SDA Bocconi for their Full time MBA program.
However, Being from a Non EU region I am really concerned about the post MBA job opportunities.
Below is a gist of my profile and i would be obliged if Accepted.com team can help me decide whether I should go ahead with the offer.

Work experience : IT consulting - 49 months
Post MBA target: Management consulting
Specialisation chosen at SDA: Strategy & internationlisation

Although I want to target consulting post MBA, I am willing to explore career opportunities in other industries leveraging the specialisation that i take in SDA.

I have heard that Italian companies are not that receptive to Non EU candidates due to language and visa issues.
Also, it would be helpful if some more information can be provided regarding Italian visa rules.

Please guide me.

Thanks

Hello,

Congratulations on your acceptance at a great program!

Look at the student body makeup in terms of geography: if there is a sizable international student percentage, then clearly non-Italians get hired, otherwise these people wouldn't attend. If not, then you need to probe further. Speak to the school's career services. Ask them very specific questions, such as among non-Italian students, what are the recruiting figures? Where have such people been hired? What support would you have as a non-Italian student? It seems that your decision will be clear once you get some more facts in your hands.

I am not able to provide information on Italian visas.

Best regards,
