Query

by kbharadwaj.1987 » Sat Sep 05, 2009 3:48 pm
If I apply for Fall-2010, and I have 1 year of work-ex by then, can I depict in the essays, and also in the application that I've or would be having 1 yr of work-ex by the time of commencement of term?
Will that be counted? I joined a company in July-2009, and will be working till July-2010, So could I depict it as 1 yr of work ex? This could make some difference as I completed my undergrad in July-2009. Please help me out with this query.

Dear kbharadwaj.1987,

According to reporting standards, applicants report the number of years or months experience they would have at the time they enter the program. Thus you would put 1 year as you would have 1 year by the time you enter in 2010. You should follow this rule unless the school specifies differently in the application.

Regards,
Lisa
