Let us assume that the total # of people = 100
Then # of stockholders = 60
# of employees = 80

(1) 5/6 of the stockholders are also employees implies 5/6 * 60 = 50 stockholders are also employees.
This means stockholders who are not employees = 60 - 50 = 10
So, % of stockholders who are not employees = (10/60) * 100; SUFFICIENT.

(2) 10% of the people attended the meeting are neither stockholders nor employees implies 10 people attended the meeting are neither stockholders nor employees.
So, 100 = 60 + 80 - both stockholders and employees + 10
So, both stockholders and employees = 50
Hence stockholders who are not employees = 60 - 50 = 10
This means stockholders who are not employees = 60 - 50 = 10
So, % of stockholders who are not employees = (10/60) * 100; SUFFICIENT.

The correct answer is D.
