I'm an international student from India who is applying to an MBA school. I'm interested in Consulting/ Entreprenuership. My GMAT score is 620 (76%). I scaled 35 (76%) on verbal and 39 (58%) on Quant. I got my BSBA (Majored in Information Systems) from the University of Arkansas in FYT. MY UG GPA is 3.02. I started out with a high GPA and the GPA took a beating when i was doing an intership in my last 2 years of schooling. Also i compelted my degree in 2 1/2 years. I have been working in JB Hunt Transport for last 4 years at their IT department. I have been promoted once. I was a Orientationa leader/ mentor during my college year. I don't have any other univsersity level awrds.
I have already applied to Washington University in St Louis and Babson College in Boston. I'm in the process of applying to Rice university.
I'm planning on applying to 4 other unveristies. The trouble i face is that i will be applying to round 3 of their applications. Does this dimish my chances of acceptance?
I like the following schools and want to pick 4 from them.
Vanderbilt Univeristy (R3)
Texas A&M University, College Station (R3)
University of Maryland, Cllege Park (R4)
Boston College (R3)
Souther Methodist University (R2)
Indiana Univeristy, Bloomington (R3)
University of Rochestor (R3)
Michigan State (R3)
I want to pick 4 other Universities. I want to make sure i have a goox chance of getting into them before i apply. I atteneded an interview in Washington Univeristy and it went very well. I addressed my GPA problem with them then. I also plan on attending interview in all the universities that i apply.
Please let me know what you think my best options.
