Visit MBA Class

by ruzgar » Mon Aug 20, 2007 7:35 am
Hello Stacy,

As I plan to travel from France to the US to visit HBS MBA Class and Stanford MBA class to know better about these programs, do you think that it will be an advantage for me to present this experiences in my essays or other fields within the application? Is it going to give me any advantages to make these visits?

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards.

Hi ruzgar,

Yes, it is very helpful to visit your target schools. You will likely have experiences in a class, while meeting other students, or attending an information session that you can talk about in your essays. Most importantly, visiting the school will give you the best idea about what you like about the program, and if the school is the right fit for you.

Good luck!

Amy,

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply.

What about Information session hold by HBS in different countries? Is it enough or is it still an advantage to go and visit campus+class?

Thanks in advance.

Ruzgar.

Hi Ruzgar,

Information sessions are great. I think it is still useful to visit campus, but you will need to decide if you have the time and money to make the trip before applying.

Good luck!
