well, I applied to the sauder school of business at UBC, and I have officially been put on the waitlist. while i'm happy I didn't get a rejection letter, I am really confused as to what to do next. their instuctions are very vague...
this is what they said about whether I should contact them or not:
"At this time we do not require additional documentation from you. However, if you need to update your resume at any time, please feel free to send a new copy to [their email address].
Unfortunately, we are unable to advise you about the likelihood of being moved off the wait list and being given an offer of admission. Please be assured that we will contact you if we require further information or need to request a second interview.
If we decide to move you from the wait list and issue an offer of admission, we will update your online status and send you an email outlining the procedure for accepting an offer."
what does that mean exactly? it doesn't say "don't contact us" but it does say "we do not require further documentation". I have had no big changes to my resume since I sent them my application. I got a big raise at work, but I don't think thats something I could add into a resume because my title and responsibilities stayed the same. So, should I email them? should I send another reference? should I do a campus visit? or should I leave it and just wait for another response?
