School Rankings by web content

These rankings are not drastically different and gives a different view of how schools are talked about over the web. Not only these rankings are comparable to FT rankings but also include some schools which do not participate in FT rankings. Your views?

I was wondering why is there no ranking based on simple student aspirations such as
(just to have a diversified view and not the sole criteria for choosing)
1) Career switching or focus
2) Working in a specific geography (of course each school will score well for its region, but exactly what region they really command uncertain)

I was able to score very few schools on these parameters by my own research but that took a lot of time and resources.

You bring up a good point, and this is a well known disadvantage of the rankings. That's why it's a good idea to also a)visit the schools when possible b)Make sure you understanding each ranking methodology c)Out of all the info out there, look at the most relevant statistics for you (whether it be salary, ROI, employment etc.)

But there really is no replacement for the deep research you have done, and you will reap the rewards.

This document takes the Bschool reputation beyond the rankings.

Have a look.

Hi Goddy,

We feel that ranking can often mislead you. We agree with Jon Frank views. Also talking to alumni of the desired schools can give you a better picture of what graduates feel about the institute. All the best.
