Asylee looking to beef up resume?

by talentscout77 » Mon Jul 02, 2012 12:58 pm
I am attending my undergrad at this moment, I am 30 years old and graduate in 2014. I lived in the US for 5 years and came here as an asylee due to personal danger to my life in my home country. My goal is to apply to an top mba immediately out of college, however I have no work expirience. How can I beef up my chances between now and 2014 when I will be looking to apply?

Hi talentscout77,

Most top MBA programs like to see candidates with at least 2 years of work experience. If you are looking to improve your candidacy while in school, I recommend you look for areas and programs where you can have a leadership role. Top admissions teams are looking for candidates with leadership experience who have made an impact.

Cheers,
