Hello,
I would really appreciate it if you could tell me what my chances are for Columbia, NYU, Dartmouth, Harvard

I have already applied to Tuck and waiting for a response in March,

GMAT-700
Arab American
Bachelors Mechanical Engineering; Master in Biomedical Engineering
3.5 years work experience in engineering and now pharmaceutical sales. (2 Fortune 500 Companies)
Lived in Beirut, Cyprus, and the US.
Have good stories to tell in my essays.
Undergraduate GPA is low (big concern of mine) but graduate GPA is 3.3
Had epilepsy in my undergraduate years which led to a lower GPA. Explained that in the optional essay.

What do you think my chances are for Tuck in March. Also, in case Tuck doesn't work out are my chances good for Columbia or Wharton.
I have written my Tuck essays to differntiate myself from other candidates since very few Arab Americans apply to Tuck.

Thanks,

Jay

I cant speak about your chances as a whole, but one thing I can point out is that banking on your ethnicity is rarely the way to go. Especially since you will find out that #1 Arabic are not "under represented" minority, top schools get a lot of those, albeit with much better stories (i.e I was not just someone who had epilepsy in undergrad, but also a prince with royal connections and my parents, grandparents, greatgrand parents all went to harvard, and I manage a multi-billion dollar fund that my dad passed onto me with his oil money) #2 schools like Tuck, Columbia and Wharton get plenty of applicants from all ethnicity, it will be difficult especially for a not "under represented minority" to bank on that as your home run hitting machine.
