Hi,
I started GMAT about 2 yrs ago and wasnt serious enough though my quant sucked.I started a little seriously about a month ago and i have taken 4 tests till now . the first two tests was from the official GMAT software from mba.com in which i scored 310 and 360.The following week i took a tests from kaplan scored a 460 in the first test and 360 in the second kaplan test.Im still fighting it out. Im planning to give the GMAT next month and aiming at a score of 640 - 650. Ive found that ive been making silly mistakes and get stuck in word problems in the topics like probability, coordinate geometry .I get slightly flustered when a big worded problem throws up during the practice tests and there is a lot of anxiety that creeps in.. dont know why. what are the flaws here ? Please do look at my post and do give me suggestions for the low score and to be able to push it up to 650 in a months time . Thanks.

Keep practicing buddy.
I am also at the same stage as you are. But I have to give my exam on Nov 30. I have only 14 days to go. I read about a post on analyzing tests. Here is a summary.
Analyzing a test:
Content: Did you know how to approach every question on the test? Checks basic foundation.
Critical thinking: Ability to hand difficult questions
Time mgmt: Skip a question if you totally didnt get it. Its better if its done at 30 secs than at 1 min.

Its all about concepts. We dont know what is getting asked and how to solve the question. We are lacking in basics. Thats the bottonm line. Get it strong. I know I have to.
Never give up and Good luck....
