Yea.. Soccer6 is right. I was referring to what their usual job description is for UG crowd. Also, I agree with legend2005 that we will get a detailed job description for 2+2 people on Oct 1st.
BTW, here's something that may interest you guys. I was surfing through HBS site and I got something interesting.. Take a look.
Here's what HBS had to say to the companies:
How do companies become involved?
Because you are one of our key recruiting partners, we want to offer you the oppor-
tunity to participate in the new 2+2 program. It’s very simple to become involved.
• Express interest in becoming a 2+2 Recruiting Partner.
• Identify opportunities at your firm that are a fit with 2+2 Admits.
• Submit your company description and potential areas of opportunity to the
2+2 Company Profile.
• Confirm the Recruiting Partnership Agreements.
It’s that easy!
We’ll then make your opportunities available to the 2+2 Admits.
How do recruiters and their organizations benefit?
The benefits and rewards you can expect from partnering with us include:
• Introduction to our pre-screened admits as a recruiting partner.
• Visibility to applicants from a breadth of diverse undergraduate institutions
and backgrounds.
• Opportunity to increase student ambassadors on campus.
So I guess, we should have good and clear Job descriptions!
Cheers
Harvard MBA HBS 2+2

Dear all,
I am a junior this year and currently preparing for GMAT. I understand that HBS really looks for leadership experience, but what could be counted as STRONG leadership experience? I never started a company or anything but have taken on leadership positions in a couple of student groups. Is that not nearly enough? Do most of you have your own business, started amazing projects to save the world or something like that? I'm deciding if I should give this program a try, but it sounds very competitive...
I think this forum has been INCREDIBLY helpful to the current juniors, if you guys could share some more about yourselves it'd be really awesome!
Many thanks in advance!

Hey,
I don't think there's one set mold of leadership they're looking for. It's hard to have started your own business or NGO or save-the-world project when you're still an undergrad, so I don't think they're looking for too much in regards to experience. Leadership in student groups should be great, if you can name concrete examples of what you did while you were a student leader.
I did take a year off after my junior year and took on three additional internships during that time, so I probably had more work experience than campus leadership. Also, leadership can also be construed as initiative, innovation, and anything daring that you can describe as having made you more mature, visionary, and able to get things done. Also if you can write your essays in a way that gives off energy and self motivation, and a unity of vision for what you want to do in the future, they will see that as leadership spirit, I think.
Good luck on the GMAT and applying to HBS!!

Thank you so much achao! You are amazing! Have great fun at HBS!
Btw, I have some China experience as well. Are you from China or US? Do you feel like many applicants have China background?

Oops, sorry, forgot to check back on this site! My family is from China but I was born and raised in the US. I haven't met many applicants yet but I do know at least one who is directly from China. Good luck in applying!

Hello Everybody,
I will be applying for HBS 2+2 program, I just want to know how you got your Application Essays crafted?
I have a few Extra-curricular activities and yes some very good leadership roles. But I am not able to craft them according to the Questions properly.
The way you present your story is also important or the Story alone.
I hope the difference is clear.
Thanks in Advance

I'm at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute doing a dual degree: primary is computer engineering, secondary as management. Do you guys think that HBS admissions will view this as a "business" degree?
