Seeking advice for afternoon exam time.

by LV15 » Mon Jun 29, 2009 7:15 am
Testing tomorrow at 12:30. Any advice from those who've taken an afternoon gmat? Do light practice questions, nothing at all, take a practice gmatprep exam...just kidding on that last one. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

I like to do a few EASY practice problems before the test, just to get the blood pumping. Nothing serious though - maybe 10-15 minutes.

I think the biggest issue is lunch. I usually have lunch at 1 pm, so a 12:30 exam time would throw me off. Make sure you plan a good eating schedule so that you're not starving during the exam. And don't have a huge lunch that makes you pass out during the test!

Take anything that tastes good to you! I don't think your choice of snack will affect your GMAT score too much. :)

I guess I would avoid anything too sugary. A banana sounds good. Energy food like nuts and powerbars are also probably wise choices.
