Solving the equation we get-->If x+y^2=(x+y^2)^2 what is the value of y ?
(1) x=y^2
(2) xy^2=0
y ^2 = -x or y^2 = 1-x
1) Plugging value of x into the above two we get y = 0 or y = sqrt(1/2)
Insufficient
2) From this either x = 0 or y = 0
If x = 0 then we can plug into the two equations and we get y = 0 or y =1 or y = -1
Insufficient
C) from 1) and 2) y = 0
Thus C
