05rose--you need to focus on working out your issues with depression first! The GMAT is trivial compared to your health.

I highly recommend that you see a doctor or another professional about your issues. Once your health is back on track, then you should be concerned again about minor annoyances like the GMAT. :)

Please get well!

While I cant consel you, as I am not the right person for the job but I at least can share my experience that helped me come out of my depression phase.
I haven't had a consellor thus I had to find my own way...

Try to have some goal/target in your mind. be it short term or long term keep aiming on something. that actually moves us & keeps us going.

'Stagnation' and 'being idle' increase your depression chances, so try to get rid out of them.

In my opinion at the time of depression try to be with you parents or with relatives or friends because they can help you at that time.
