3 Days before test - looking for advice to get to 730

Hi guys -

Would appreciate any constructive last minute advice.

Here's my situation - I'm taking the test Thursday at 630pm and I want to maximize my time through Wednesday afternoon - plan on cutting off prepping at that time.

I just took Prep 1 today and got a 710 and have been getting roughly 700 on my kaplan CAT tests - have taken 6 of them and range is 680-710. I'd like to get a 730 on the real test, and wanted to see if anyone had last minute advice on how to properly utilize my time (i know, it's late and i only have 2.5 days to prep left, so it might be unreasonable to shoot for that).

Weaknesses I'm fully cognizant of - my timing and number properties; i've pretty much given up on number properties bc i feel like i either see it or i dont...i can get it but it drains my time, any thoughts to this?

Also, there's one kink that I haven't been able to interpret is that my verbal and math scores over time look like sine curves - i do well in one and suck in the other...Prep 1 - M49, V40..the grammar obliterated me and i've generally been doing really well on these questions for the kaplans

Since you are so close to test day, I don't think it's a wise move to put in much more serious prep. From your practice test scores, it looks like you are in range for a very fine performance!

One suggestion: write down the difficult concepts into a set of flashcards and review those frequently in the next few days. But as you get closer to test day, do less and less studying, and more and more resting. You'll need the energy.

Kick some ass and tell us how it goes. :)

Eric is right. You are in good shape with a 49 in quant I wouldn't stress. What I will say about number properties, without knowing exactly what your troubles are but based on the fact that you say you either see it or you don't, is that very often with number properties it is a matter of rewritting the expression; this will reveal what is being tested. So if at first you don't see it... try factoring it, or distributing it or somehow manipulating it to get an equivalent but different looking expression. This might reveal that divisibility is being tested or consecutive integers etc.

So, again, don't study too hard, you are already in fantastic shape. But you may want to try practice recognizing different forms of the same expression
