From statement 1 we have that \(L=2W+6\). Insufficient. \({\color{red}{\chi}}\)

From statement 2 we have that \(L=4W\). Insufficient. \({\color{red}{\chi}}\)

Combining both, we get
$$
\begin{align*}
\begin{cases}
L=2W+6 &\quad (1)\\
L=4W &\quad (2)
\end{cases}
\end{align*}
$$
Multiplying \((1)\) by \(2\), \((2)\) by \(-1\) and making the sum, we obtain
$$L=12.\quad{\color{green}{\checkmark}}$$
Hence, __C__ is the correct option.
