Hello Guys,
I am planning to take the exam on Tuesday. My initial target was 700+ but to be realistic it will not be very easy for me. I took 5 tests till now and havent scored more than 620. Okay I accepted that I am not going to run after 700+ score instead I will focus on getting more than 620.
I took two gmat preps
yesterday Prep 2: 540
Two weeks ago Gmat prep 1: 520
MGMAT 1 -- 620
MGMAT 2 -- 590
MGMAT 4 -- 600
Kaplan Paper test -- 540
Looking at the above scores I think right now I fit somewhere between 550 to 600. But if I want to score more than 620 now I wil have to do something different.
I am severely lacking in my verbal skills. Though I am able to complete 35 questions, finishing the rest has been a very daunting task for me. I have now accepted it, I am not going to make any miracle in last 2 days of exam. So here is my strategy.
I am planning to go after only 37 questions in verbal. I will keep one RC for option. Though it is very dangerous strategy I am sure that it will give me an opportunity to answer some of the unanswered questions from 35 to 41. Since my hit rate in the RC is pretty much close to 50%. Saving time in the RC will allow me to score few more points in verbal.
I am particularly looking to skip the RC between 20 and 30 questions.
Please guys can anyone please give me some inputs. I will update this post after I take my exam again. But please update on this post if anyone has obvious hints to score few more points.
Thank you
