if the probability that event S will not occur is 1-Y then the probability that event S will occur is ?

a. y^2-1
b. y^2
c. y/2
d. y-1
e. y

Not occur =1-Occur

No S = 1-Y

IMO E

Probabilty of an event occuring + probability of an event NOT occuring = 1

P(S) + 1 - Y = 1
P(S) = Y
