Coordinate system

In a rectangular coordinate system, does point (0,0) lie on line m?
(1) Line m does not pass through point (2,0).
(2) Line m passes through point (1,0).

A) 1 only
B) 2 only
C) Together
D) both alone
E) impossible

How do you solve this question?

Question is asking if Line M passes through Origin.
Stmt1 doesnt give enough info
Stmt2 also doesnt give enough info

Combining:
The line passing though (0,0) and (1,0) is only x axis.
But (2,0) lies on X axis.
Hence M cannot be the line X-axis.
Hence M cannot pass through Origin.

(1) If line m doesn't pass through (2,0), you it COULD pass through the origin, but it also could not.

Insufficient

(2) If line m passes through point (1,0), it could pass through the origin if it's a horizontal line, but if it's not it won't.

Insufficient

If line m passes through both of those points, the line must be horizontal along the x-axis, and therefore (0,0) does lie on line m.
