- GMAT Score:710
Hi, I recently took the GMATs this last Saturday and scored a 710 (Q48, V41), 92nd percentile overall.
I have a 3.0 gpa from UCSD majoring in Biology. I know my GPA is way low... but I hope it helps that it does show an upward trend with a higher upperdiv and major GPA.
I worked for one year in a commercial insurance consulting firm (which was terrible) as a insurance consultant. Got promoted within 4 months, and then stuck with it for another 8 months. At the one year mark, I jumped ship and began working for a biologics/pharmaceutical company as a pharm rep. I have had good success at this company and will continue working here until 2011 (when I want to go to business school). At this point, I will have 3 years of work experience.
As far as extra curriculars, while I was in College I founded a non-profit student org that educated students about street racing and drunk driving. I still work with the club and its current board members and we've successfully expanded to 6 other college campuses, with other 1000 members cumulatively.
Age at graduation: 22
Current Age: 24
My targets are Stanford, UCLA, and USC. Am I competitive at any of these schools? Thanks so much for the help!
