one doubt in mgmat sc sentence:
Angola is now one of Africa's success stories: its economy grew by 21% last year
success story == economy grew by 21% BUT how Angola (a country) == success story

The phrase "is a success story" is used to allude to someone/something who has had success (typically, by overcoming harsh circumstances).

So the following uses are grammatically and meaning-wise correct.
Barack Obama is a success story.
Canada is a success story.
The United Way charity is a success story.
The electrical car was a success story.
