First of all, to me 'Much' is more appropriate for dioxine than 'many' ==> d and e will be eliminated
(A) much of the currently uncontrolled dioxins to which North Americans are exposed comes
'to which' is a bit strange and awkward
(B) much of the currently uncontrolled dioxins that North Americans are exposed to come
'that' used appropriately since it state a key point for this statement..
(C) much of the dioxins that are currently uncontrolled and that North Americans are exposed to comes
it is wordy and awkward
(D) many of the dioxins that are currently uncontrolled and North Americans are exposed to come
(E) many of the currently uncontrolled dioxins to which North Americans are exposed come

then between a and b i think b is more reasonable

If the confusion is deciding between much and many, this sentence has a subject-verb error that will help fix the confusion

dioxins is a plural subject. The verb come is required

dioxins come from incineration of wastes

E is my choice

between much and many: much is appropriate as dioxins are uncountable.

eg: much water, many dogs

Therefore, choices D and E are out

With 'much' must use singular 'comes' instead of plural 'come'. Therefore, B is out.

Leaves us with A and C

C too wordy, awkward

IMO A

it seems the correct answer is E... the most important thing here is that "we can not end a modifier with a preposition"
so the choices says 'north americans are expose to' are wrong
as for much and many... Dioxines is a plural noun so it is contable and need 'many' ==> the final choice will be E
